The Overworld

World 1

The Overworld is the first world in Bubble Gum Simulator Infinity, free and open since release on 11 April 2025. Six zones stack from the Surface to Zen at 15,955 m, with three side zones: the Hatching Zone, VIP Zone and The Shadow Realm. Its eggs, shops and chests run on Coins and Gems.

Getting there

Every player spawns on the Surface, so nothing needs unlocking. Higher zones are reached by bubble jump or through the Surface's portals. Zen holds the gate to Minigame Paradise (1B Coins).

The Seven Seas gate (2.5B Coins) was also in Zen, from 8 August 2025 until Update 46 moved it to Minigame Paradise on 13 March 2026.

Side zones. The Hatching Zone and VIP Zone are at ground level, The Shadow Realm at 3,150 m.

The Hatching Zone is a round two-level base beside the spawn. It has held the Seven Seas eggs since Update 22, and since Update 34 it shows the two eggs that can hatch XL pets that day.

The Shadow Realm became a permanent zone in Update 50. It is the hub for event eggs, shops and wheel spins with no world of their own. Its portal moved to the Hatching Zone in Update 52.

The Shadow Realm Egg is not bought. Since Update 51 it can appear as a very rare pickup in the Gem Mine, a Gem farming area in The Shadow Realm.

Hourly quests

The Gem Genie in Zen offers three random quests an hour; one can be taken, and 20 Reroll Orbs buy a new set. Each quest has 2 or 3 objectives and pays its Gems plus five rolls on the table below.

Objectives: blow 50M or 65M Bubbles, collect 500M or 1B Coins, hatch 500 or 1,000 eggs, or hatch 120 Common, 75 Rare or 25 Epic pets.

The Shadow Leviathan in The Shadow Realm has given a second hourly quest since 8 August 2026. Rerolls cost 25 Reroll Orbs, and targets are bigger: 150M to 400M Bubbles, 1,500 to 4,000 eggs, or up to 10 Legendary pets.

Its pool has Gems, Infinity and Evolved potions, Shadow Crystals, Boost Crystals, Rune Rocks, Infinity, Egg and Secret Elixirs, and a Mythic Ancient Shadow Leviathan.

Activities

Island Race runs from the Surface to Zen, so it needs Zen unlocked. Every finisher gets 550 Gems, plus 1 item under 3:00 or 2 items under 2:30. The item pool since the Update 47 revamp:

Doggy Jump in Outer Space is an endless runner. Each score prize can be claimed once every 30 minutes.

The Overworld Giftbox Rain drops gifts on the Surface at the start of every hour, themed to any running event. Gifts hold 1 to 5 Infinity or Ultra Infinity Elixirs, 2 to 5 Egg or Secret Elixirs, 2 to 5 Shadow Crystals, or an Infinity or Evolved potion. Gift rains were event-only until Update 60 made this one permanent.

The Event Board on the Surface starts a free 30 minute server event every hour, one of:

  • Super Palooza: x2 Super Legendary chance

The Bubble Shrine takes one donation an hour, and more items give a longer blessing. Donations add XP, up to level 50 at 5,000,000 XP. At level 50 the Shrine Blessing gives +150% Luck, +50% Bubbles, +75% currency and +25% hatch speed.

Rifts

Rifts are temporary floating islands that appear between zones for 10 minutes. With Rifts Mastery, one can be summoned at the Bubble Shrine for 1 Rift Charm plus Rift Shards.

  • Summoned rift time: 10 minutes for 1 Rift Shard, 15 for 2, 30 for 4, 45 for 8, 60 for 16.
  • Egg rift luck: x5 for 1 shard, x10 for 2, x15 for 3, x20 for 4, x25 for 5.
  • Summoning opened in Update 12 for egg rifts and Update 13 for chest rifts. Update 28 changed prices and times.

World Rewards and Index

The Overworld's World Rewards track is claimed on Hyperwave Island in Minigame Paradise. Its 30 tiers cost 2,000.1B Coins in total, from 100M Coins (paying 100 Coins) to 133.2B Coins for the Cerberus. Tiers between give Golden and Royal Keys, Spin Tickets, Mystery Boxes, tier V and Evolved potions and Infinity Elixirs.

Completing the Index gives +50% Luck, Shiny and Mythic chance on The Overworld's eggs, but not the Infinity Egg. Each egg also pays its own prize, from 500 Coins for the Common Egg to an Infinity Elixir for the Rainbow Egg.

  1. Release

    The Traveling Merchant began visiting the Surface on weekends.

    Rebirth Machine moved from the Halloween world's Dark Castle to the Hatching Zone.

    Bubble Festival removed with its shop, wheel and Da Cool Trio quests. The Gem Genie took over those items, its top bonus fell from 500% to 300%, and its targets rose.

  15. Update 33

    Ice Cavern opened to Frozen Key holders, until 9 January 2026.

  16. Update 37

    Admin Abuse moved to Admin Island, which spawned once per Admin Abuse until 20 March 2026.

  17. Update 42

    Admin Rebirth Machine added. AA-Secrets stopped working in the normal Rebirth Machine.

  18. Update 47

    Island Race rewards revamped. Admin Rebirth Machine moved to Floating Island.

  19. Update 50

    The Shadow Realm returned as a permanent zone with Rune Crafting and the Shadow Shop. Rebirth Machine moved to Outer Space.

  20. Update 51

    Gem Mine and Shadow Realm Egg added to The Shadow Realm. Event Board added to the Surface.

  21. Update 52

    Shadow Realm portal moved to the Hatching Zone; Admin Rebirth Machine made permanent.

Trivia

  • Zen, at 15,955 m, is not the highest permanent zone. Hyperwave Island in Minigame Paradise sits at 20,030 m.
  • The Rebirth Machine has stood in three places: The Dark Castle (31 October 2025), the Hatching Zone (Update 28) and Outer Space (Update 50).
  • The Shadow Realm was a limited event from 29 August to 19 September 2025 before returning for good in Update 50.
  • The Bubble Festival was announced as permanent in Update 10 and removed four and a half months later in Update 29.
  • When the Throwback Egg was taken out, its Hatching Zone spot stayed empty until Update 3.
  • The Secret Egg in Seven Seas costs 1 Coin, so its pets can roll in The Overworld's Infinity Egg.
